Send invoices from your own WhatsApp number.
Vupiy is a Meta Tech Provider for the WhatsApp Business Platform. Connect your WhatsApp Business number with one click, and your invoices, estimates, schedules and receipts go out from your number with the PDF attached — recurring auto-invoices included, Meta's delivery receipts logged for every message.
Documents your customers actually open.
- Invoices — sent from your WhatsApp Business number with the PDF as a document, from the invoice list or right after you create one
- Auto-invoices — recurring invoices go out on their schedule by WhatsApp, alongside or instead of email
- Estimates — quotes with the PDF attached; convert to an invoice when accepted
- Schedules — monthly shift plans delivered to each employee
- Receipts — expense and income receipts shared with your accountant or client
- Receipts logged — Meta's sent, delivered and read receipts are recorded for every message
One click with Facebook. Or paste a token.
1 · Connect with Facebook
In Integrations → WhatsApp press Connect with Facebook. Meta's own window walks you through picking (or creating) your WhatsApp Business account and number. Vupiy receives a one-time code, never your Facebook password.
Prefer manual? Paste a token
Already run WhatsApp Business through Meta? Paste a System User token, press Find my number and pick it from the list. The token is encrypted and never shown again.
2 · Approve the template
WhatsApp requires an approved message template for business messages. Press Create it for me: Vupiy submits the template to Meta from your account and shows its review status. Send yourself a test, then you are live.
Requirements and costs
A Vupiy Pro, Business or Practice plan
WhatsApp sending is included on every paid plan at no extra charge from Vupiy. Starter can send invoices by email.
A Meta Business account and a WhatsApp Business number
The number is registered to the WhatsApp Business Platform. A number currently used in the consumer WhatsApp app cannot be used at the same time; most businesses use a dedicated line or migrate their business number in the connect flow.
Meta's conversation charges
Meta bills your own WhatsApp Business account for conversations at its published rates; you add a payment method in Meta Business Manager. Vupiy does not resell or mark up messages.
Your data stays yours
Your Meta token is stored encrypted and used only to send what you choose to send. Message logs hold status and timestamps, not your customers' conversations. Disconnect at any time from Integrations.
Before you connect.
Do I need a separate phone number?
You need a number registered to the WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta's business API). A number already active in the consumer WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app cannot be used on the platform at the same time. Most businesses register a dedicated line; the connect flow can also migrate an existing business number.
What exactly does the customer receive?
A message from your business number using your approved template, with the invoice or estimate PDF attached as a document and a payment link where you use Stripe. Schedules and receipts arrive the same way.
Can recurring invoices go out by WhatsApp automatically?
Yes. In the auto-invoice wizard choose WhatsApp as a delivery channel; each run sends the generated invoice from your number, and the send is logged together with Meta's delivery receipt.
What if my connection drops or the template is rejected?
The WhatsApp card in Integrations shows the connection and template status and a test-send button. Meta sometimes rejects templates for wording; Vupiy's suggested template follows Meta's utility-message rules, and you can edit and resubmit from your Meta account.
Is there a cheaper way without the Business Platform?
Yes: every invoice also has a WhatsApp Web share option that opens a pre-written message with a secure link in your own WhatsApp — free, but manual and without delivery tracking.
