Each paid tier includes a generous number of companies — Pro 3 companies, Business 5 companies. Need more? Add extra companies for just £4/month each. No need to pay for separate Vupiy subscriptions like you would with Xero or QuickBooks (where each company needs its own plan).
Pick Business if you need any of these: employee scheduling with UK bank holidays, WhatsApp send, branded PDF report exports, 5 team members with role-based permissions, or 5+ companies. If you're a solo freelancer with 1-3 companies, Pro is plenty.
Practice gives you a single panel that lists every client company. Includes 100 client books (extra clients +£0.50/month each — 200 clients = £99/month). Switch books in a click, run cross-client reports, use the public REST API, and offer a custom-branded login to your clients. See the accountant solution page for the full workflow.
Pro, Business and Practice include unlimited invoices, estimates and expenses for normal business activity. The fair-use policy exists to prevent abuse (e.g., using Vupiy as a mass invoice generator). Typical heavy users — even at 500+ invoices/month per company — never hit it. If your usage looks unusual we contact you first, never silently throttle.
Yes — upgrade or downgrade any time. Upgrades are prorated; downgrades take effect at the next billing period. Cancellations are immediate, and you keep access until the period ends.

These are on our public roadmap — MTD VAT 2026 Q3, Open Banking 2026 Q4, Receipt OCR 2027 Q1, Payroll RTI 2027 Q2. We don't price these into plans yet; when they ship they'll be included on the relevant tiers at launch. Until then, your accountant handles VAT submission via Vupiy's exports.
Stripe fees go directly to Stripe under your own account — Vupiy doesn't add a surcharge. Standard Stripe UK pricing is 1.5% + 20p for European cards. See Payments for details.
No — listed prices are excluding VAT. UK customers see 20% VAT added at checkout where applicable. We provide a VAT invoice for every payment.
Your data stays exported-ready for 30 days after cancellation, during which you can re-activate or download a full Excel/PDF archive. After 30 days the data is permanently deleted from active databases (UK GDPR-compliant retention).
